Shirley is a deeply devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Out of her own brokenness, Shirley speaks to women that there is hope and healing in God.  It is never too late to come to Him.  It always fills her heart helping women take steps towards healing through Jesus.

 

    Shirley was raised in San Diego, California and is the proud momma to three amazing children.  For the past 40 years, she has served in various church ministries:  from children and youth, led home Bible study groups, volunteer outreach, and has sung with several worship teams.  She began her career as a critical care ICU Registered Nurse that led to a PACU Pre/Post surgical care nurse.   She now enjoys writing and speaking to women’s groups.

    In 2022, Shirley moved her family to the beautiful rolling hills south of Nashville, Tennessee to honor her family roots of a simpler country life.  It was in Tennessee that God introduced Shirley to her now husband, James Bowen. Every day is a gift as they enjoy their time together with each other, family and friends.  Together, they share a passion to follow God’s leading in their lives.
